FS (Heavy Backend) Java, Rest API, Spring Boot

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client that is seeking a FS (Heavy Backend) Java, Rest API, Spring Boot in Westlake, TX. Along with development, you will contribute to a teamwork environment by actively participating in peer project reviews, code reviews, design reviews and being available to help others when needed. Duties:

• Supports and performs all phases of testing leading to implementation
• Involved in translating architectural standards into application-level design
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (Computer Science or related fields)
• 6-9 years of development experience with expertise building Rest APIs using Java, Spring Boot in the Cloud
• Excellent understanding of Java 17 capabilities, lambda, streams, and functional interfaces
• Excellent understanding and working experience using spring modules, including IOC, MVC(Rest), BATCH, Spring boot along with other core components like oauth2 and security
• Experience in developing cloud native applications (AZURE is preferred)
• Excellent object-oriented analysis and design experience
• Experience with large scale system implementation, integration, interfaces, and data conversion
• Demonstrated experience of full Software Development Life Cycle, DevOps, and Continuous Integration/Continuous Development and tools like tools - Jenkins, and uDeploy
• You thrive in a team-oriented environment

• You are willing and excited to add your voice and opinion to the discussion
• You own the outcome by taking personal accountability for delivering strong results
• You question the way things are done, always seeking to improve the productivity of the team

• Good communication skills, both through written and verbal channels
• Snaplogic or similar ETL knowledge and experience is a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
