Kforce's client in Westford, MA is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Financial Reporting Accountant to join a growing finance team within a public company environment. Summary: This role offers hands-on exposure to external reporting, SEC filings, and cross-functional collaboration with accounting, legal, and leadership teams. The role will be hybrid in the Westford, MA area, at least 3 days onsite. - Support preparation of quarterly and annual SEC filings, including 10-Q, 10-K, earnings-related filings, and other required reports
- Coordinate inputs and supporting schedules across accounting, legal, and internal stakeholders
- Prepare and review financial statement footnotes and disclosure support
- Perform tie-outs of financial statements and disclosures to underlying support and source systems
- Manage internal and external review comments, including legal, audit, and senior management feedback
- Assist with financial tables and tie-outs for the annual proxy statement
- Support quarterly and year-end audits, SOX testing, and walkthroughs
- Monitor new accounting standards and assist with implementation and disclosure requirements
- Prepare monthly revenue and receivable analyses to support management reporting
- Provide backup support for month-end close and consolidation activities
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required)
- Master's degree and/or CPA preferred
- 1-3 years of accounting or financial reporting experience
- Public company and/or public accounting experience strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP; SEC reporting exposure a plus

Salary : $85,000 - $100,000
