Kforce's client, located metrowest of Boston, MA is seeking a strategic, hands-on Controller to lead corporate accounting for a multi-state organization with approximately over $500M in revenue. Summary: Reporting to the recently promoted VP/Director, this role oversees accounting operations, controls and reporting, in a high-volume transactional environment. Our client is seeking a team leader with strong accounting expertise coming from a $400M or greater high transactional environment with prior public and private company experience in either manufacturing, product, distribution, retail, engineering, or the construction industries. Key Responsibilities:
- Be the leader of the accounting functions, ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of general ledger activity and financial reporting across a complex, multi-state organization
- Mentor, develop and lead a strong existing team to build collaboration
- Partner with leaders on strategic initiatives, systems optimization, and process improvements that support continued growth
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities
- Prepare and submit accurate financial statements
- Provide ad hoc reporting, analysis, and decision support in a fast-paced, high-volume accounting environment
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or public accounting foundation strongly preferred
- Minimum of 10 years total experience with 2 years of experience as a Controller in a large, complex organization with at least $500 million in revenue, along with proven success leading teams in a growth-oriented environment
- Strong hands-on experience with ERP systems; Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience is a plus
- Ability to work on-site, with occasional remote days

Salary : $225,000 - $300,000
