Kforce has a client that is seeking a Software DevOps Engineer in Charlotte, NC. Key Tasks:
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for cloud-native applications using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools
- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates
- Automate deployment and configuration of Azure services including App Services, Functions, Storage Accounts, Key Vault, and Azure AI Services
- Collaborate with development, data, and AI teams to integrate DevOps practices into intelligent applications
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights
- Ensure cloud environments are secure, scalable, and compliant with governance policies
- Troubleshoot deployment issues and optimize performance across environments
- Contribute to DevOps best practices, documentation, and reusable templates/modules
- 3 years of experience in Azure DevOps engineering or cloud automation roles
- Strong hands-on experience with Terraform, Bicep, or other IaC tools
- Proficiency in AD Entra
- Proficiency in CI/CD pipeline design and deployment automation
- Solid understanding of Azure services, including networking, compute, and storage
- Experience with Azure AI Services (e.g., Cognitive Services, Azure OpenAI, Form Recognizer) is highly preferred
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python
- Strong understanding of Git workflows, branching strategies, and version control
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive, self-driven attitude
