Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Azure Engineer - DevOps Specialist in Charlotte, NC.
Duties:
- Design and manage Azure cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Build and maintain Terraform modules for scalable, repeatable deployments
- Develop CI/CD pipelines leveraging GitHub Actions and Azure-native tooling
- Automate cloud operations using Python and Bash scripting
- Support Kubernetes-based container orchestration in Azure environments
- Identify and resolve infrastructure bottlenecks across cloud ecosystems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enforce DevOps best practices
- 7 years of cloud engineering experience with senior-level ownership
- Strong hands-on Terraform experience in production environments
- Experience with Kubernetes and containerized deployments
- Solid understanding of CloudFormation and multi-cloud architecture principles
- Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure; AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform experience is a plus
- Advanced GitHub automation experience (GitHub Actions required)
- Solid background in shell scripting for deployment and maintenance tasks
- Expertise of CI/CD
- Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting for infrastructure automation
