Seeking an experienced Contract Manufacturing Manager to oversee outsourced manufacturing operations across our contract manufacturing partners. This role owns the overall management and coordination of production at supplier locations, ensuring quality, delivery, and cost targets are met and that teams are aligned and accountable. The position works closely with internal engineering, supply chain, quality, and operations teams and provides direct leadership to technical and planning resources supporting external manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Oversee outsourced manufacturing programs across all supplier sites in the region, ensuring consistent execution against production plans.
- Align internal teams and contract manufacturers to clear objectives, responsibilities, and performance expectations.
- Monitor supplier performance and follow up to resolve gaps in quality, delivery, or cost.
- Support production ramp-ups, engineering changes, and process improvements.
- Coordinate across engineering, supply chain, quality, and operations.
- Track supplier KPIs and ensure corrective actions and improvement plans are executed.
- Strengthen processes and accountability at all contract manufacturing locations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on overall process reliability, yield, and cost.
Qualifications
- 7 years of experience in contract manufacturing management, supplier oversight, or manufacturing operations with 2 years in a leadership role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field.
- Experience overseeing multiple contract manufacturing partners or locations.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and supply chain principles.
- Ability to lead teams and influence cross-functional partners to meet shared objectives.
- Lean, Six Sigma, or structured problem-solving experience preferred.
Additional Information
- Travel up to approximately 70% to supplier locations.
- Role operates in a matrixed, multi-site environment.
