We build some of the most advanced machine vision inspection systems used on high-speed production lines worldwide. Our solutions combine cameras, AI, and industrial software to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency for customers in food & beverage, pharma, and packaging.
We’re looking for Senior Systems Engineer to support the development of complex products from concept through validation and launch.
The position focuses on defining system-level requirements, working across engineering and product teams, and ensuring solutions are aligned with customer needs and ready for market release. This role is well suited for an experienced engineer who is comfortable working across disciplines and contributing throughout the product lifecycle.
How You’ll Contribute
- Act as a technical point of contact between Program Management, Application & Support Engineers, and development teams.
- Write and own traceable requirements (SMART) and Statements of Work for complex Systems of Systems, including software systems.
- Ensure product developments align with customer needs and are ready for market launch.
- Create and manage system-level product requirements and specifications in collaboration with Product Management, Sales, and Marketing.
- Ensure development teams clearly understand both functional and technical requirements.
- Participate in product design discussions and prototype development.
- Develop system-level validation test plans and oversee their execution.
- Write or coordinate validation procedures and help guide test strategies based on field issues or product feedback.
- Support customers during factory validation and testing phases, including on-site support when needed.
- Contribute to benchmarking activities and help improve customer testing processes.
- Serve as a technical reference for one or more assigned product lines.
What We're Looking For
- 7 years of relevant engineering experience, with meaningful exposure to systems-level work.
- Experience working in complex, multi-disciplinary product environments, such as mechanical, electrical, software, or cloud-based systems.
- Experience defining and managing product requirements, specifications, and validation plans.
- Ability to translate customer or market needs into clear technical requirements used by development teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially when working across functions.
- Familiarity with internal tools: ERP systems, PLM tools, Azure DevOps, Mantis, Squash, JIRA, and similar.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Systems, Industrial, Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Science), or related field of study.
Travel
- Domestic and international travel up to approximately 20% per year to customer sites and company locations.
