This position supports the work of the YMCA, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. The Member Engagement Representative at Kenosha YMCA maintains a supportive, positive atmosphere that welcomes and respects all individuals. The Member Engagement Representative responds to member and guest needs and promotes memberships and programs. The Member Engagement Representative understands the Kenosha YMCA has zero tolerance for abuse of youth in its programs by employees or volunteers and will follow child abuse prevention policies, comply with mandated reporting requirements, and cooperate with law enforcement.

Qualifications:
- 21 years or older
- Must meet the state requirement for Child Care Teacher – currently 6 credits of Education or related field pertaining to working with School-Age children (5-12yrs)
- Provide proof of First Aid/CPR/AED Certification
- Provide current Wisconsin certificate from The Registry with level 7 or higher
- Shaken Baby Syndrome Training, Mandated Reporter Training, School-Age Curricular Framework
- Experience working with children
- Basic math, writing and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to learn state licensing childcare regulations and procedures for Group Day Care Centers.
- Ability to work cooperatively with youth, parents, staff and community organizations
- Ability to work independently.
- Joy and satisfaction in working with children.
- Background check cannot contain offenses restricted by state law
