Software Developer - Full Stack

Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Software Developer - Full Stack to support the design, development, testing, and maintenance of modern software applications. This role will be responsible for building scalable full-stack solutions across frontend, backend, and AI-powered services while collaborating closely with product teams and stakeholders. The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer with experience in modern web technologies, microservices, cloud-native development, and AI-assisted development practices. This person will play a key role in delivering secure, high-performing applications while contributing to modernization and automation initiatives.

Contract Details

• Duration: 10-week contract
• Location: Brookfield, WI

Core Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack applications utilizing React, Java/Spring Boot, Python, and backend services
• Build and enhance scalable, secure APIs and microservices aligned with enterprise architecture standards
• Develop AI-powered workflows and intelligent automation solutions using modern AI frameworks
• Participate throughout the software development lifecycle from requirements gathering through deployment and support
• Collaborate with Agile teams to deliver high-quality code and continuously improve engineering practices
• Support CI/CD pipelines, DevOps initiatives, and deployment automation efforts
• Lead modernization efforts by migrating legacy applications to cloud-native architectures
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools to improve development efficiency and code quality
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues while supporting system performance and reliability
• Develop technical documentation and maintain application configurations
• Monitor, tune, and optimize applications to meet security, performance, and scalability requirements
• Work cross-functionally with product, infrastructure, and business stakeholders to deliver business objectives

Required Skills/Experience (Must-Haves)

• Strong full-stack software development experience
• Hands-on experience with React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks
• Experience developing applications using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices architectures
• Python development experience, including API and service development
• Experience working with relational databases and SQL development
• Strong understanding of Agile software delivery methodologies
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Knowledge of application security, authentication, and authorization frameworks
• Ability to troubleshoot, optimize, and support enterprise applications
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Skills/Experience (Nice-to-Haves)

• React 19 , TypeScript, React Router, and Tailwind CSS
• Java 21 and Spring Boot 3.x
• FastAPI and asynchronous Python development
• PostgreSQL development and performance tuning
• Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, LLMs, and AI-powered application development
• Docker and Kubernetes experience
• Jenkins, GitLab, Rancher, and related DevOps tools
• Experience with IAM, SSO, OAuth2, JWT, Active Directory, and enterprise security frameworks
• Knowledge of workflow orchestration, state machines, and automation platforms
• Experience leveraging GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar AI-assisted development tools

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $53.00 and $77.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
