Our client a leading healthcare & life sciences provider is seeking a Sample Quality Analyst to join their team! This position is located in onsite in Ankeny, Iowa. This position is a 6 month contract role, with possibly for extension.

Core Responsibilities
- Receipt, identification, and preparation of samples (grain, seed, etc.)
- Ensure incoming samples are labeled correctly, appropriate analytical have been requested, prep and analyze samples according to ISO work instructions
- Prioritization of analysis according to customer needs matched to capacity
- Organization and coordination of projects in a high throughput lab environment
- Obtaining analytical data, ensuring data integrity, and functioning in multi-discipline teams and delivering laboratory results in an efficient manner
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or engineering field such as Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Biology, or a related field
- 0 years of related experience, this can include similar laboratory work completed in an academic setting
- Laboratory experience can include: total combustion analysis, elemental analysis, calorimetry, Gas Chromatography (GC), NIR Spectroscopy, NMR, colorimetry, falling number, farinograph, mixograph, bench-top wet chemical or biology analysis

- Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $40,000 and $43,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
