What are the responsibilities and job description for the Land Listing Agent position at Keller Williams Realty, LLC?
This is an opportunity for an agent who wants to specialize, build a strong listing pipeline, and develop expertise in one of the most relationship-driven areas of real estate.
The ideal candidate is interested in working with landowners, investors, developers, builders, and property owners.
This is not a traditional “hang your license and wait for business” opportunity. We are looking for someone who wants to actively support our book of business with the support, systems, marketing, training, and leadership of an established brokerage environment.
The role combines listing acquisition, market research, client relationship management, and listing support.
You will be responsible for developing relationships with landowners and prospective sellers, assisting with listing preparation, and helping move properties from initial conversation through market launch and sale.
This role may be structured as part-time or full-time depending on experience, availability, and production goals.
- Manage a consistent pipeline of land listing opportunities
- Conduct seller appointments
- Develop relationships with landowners, investors, builders, developers, and other real estate professionals
- Research ownership information, property history, zoning, access, utilities, market activity, and comparable land sales
- Assist with pricing strategy and listing preparation
- Prepare properties for market and coordinate listing launches
- Support photography, signage, marketing materials, MLS input, and property information
- Communicate with sellers throughout the listing process
- Respond to inbound inquiries and convert leads into appointments and clients
- Maintain accurate CRM records and consistent follow-up
- Track prospecting activity, appointments, pipeline, and conversion
- Participate in training, accountability, prospecting sessions, and business planning
- Stay informed on land trends, development activity, and growth across the Phoenix metro area
- Active Arizona Real Estate License required
- Strong interest in land, development, investment real estate, or specialized listing sales
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Able to work toward measurable goals
- Organized with strong follow-up habits
- Comfortable managing a pipeline over longer sales cycles
- Willing to learn the nuances of land transactions, zoning, development, and property research
- Ability to communicate professionally with property owners, investors, builders, and developers
- Land experience is a plus, but not required for the right candidate
