Overview

Our client is seeking an exceptional Chief Operating Officer (COO) to support an organization in an aggressive expansion phase across the U.S. This is a high-impact opportunity within a mid-sized business in the health and wellness space, offering the chance to help scale new initiatives in a largely untapped market. The company operates domestically across all 50 states.

As COO, you will work directly with the CEO to help lead major strategic initiatives and ensure the business has the structure, follow-through, and operational capacity to support growth. This role exists as a missing piece of the organizational puzzle and is well suited to a highly structured operator with strong communication and execution skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the deployment and integration of major business initiatives into the current operating model
  • Develop and execute operational strategies to support aggressive multi-state expansion
  • Support contract execution and broader market growth initiatives
  • Build and optimize processes to handle increasing capacity as programs scale
  • Partner with the CEO on strategic decision-making and operational execution
  • Support day-to-day operations across the business
  • Travel 30-40% to support market development, customer relationships, and team engagement across key regions
  • Bring a highly structured, detail-oriented approach to execution, with strong communication and intentional follow-through


Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare-related fields or business
  • Proven track record in healthcare administration or business operations
  • Strategic mindset with strong execution capabilities
  • Detail-oriented and highly structured working style
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Intentional follow-through and execution, staying focused on the mission under all circumstances
  • Calm, grounded leadership style with adaptability in fast-paced, evolving environments
  • Comfortable with on-site work in Oklahoma City and regular domestic travel
  • Preferred Qualifications

    • MBA or other advanced degree
    • Knowledge of healthcare systems, insurance, and therapy
    • Experience launching new products, services, or initiatives in healthcare-related environments


    Benefits

    Base Salary: $130,000 - 145,000

    • Variable Compensation: Performance bonus (up to 40% of base) plus equity participation in management pool
