- Source and secure carrier capacity by building relationships with reliable trucking partners
- Track and trace active shipments to ensure timely pickup and delivery
- Communicate proactively with carriers and internal account teams to ensure on-time performance and problem resolution
- Maintain carrier compliance by verifying insurance, safety records, and performance history
- Leverage load boards and carrier networks to match freight with available capacity efficiently
- Analyze carrier performance data to identify opportunities for improved service and stronger partnerships
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
- Proficiency with TMS platforms and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating cross-functionally
- High school Diploma or GED required. Associate Degree preferred.
- Prior customer service experience preferred.
