Sr Cost Accountant

KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting has partnered with a rapidly growing manufacturer near Windham, NH to identify a Cost Accountant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with manufacturing cost accounting experience who can provide meaningful analysis around inventory valuation, COGS, and overall cost performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze product specifications to evaluate and determine standard costs
• Track and report on overhead, material, and labor costs
• Perform variance analysis to identify trends and key cost drivers
• Oversee inventory counts and valuation processes
• Evaluate CAPEX investments and perform ROI analysis
• Ensure compliance with SOX controls and internal procedures
• Support cost forecasting and budgeting activities
• Assist with audit requests and documentation
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
• 2 years of relevant cost accounting experience, preferably within manufacturing
• Strong experience working with large-scale ERP systems
  
  

Compensation: $115,000-$130,000 Competitive Benefits
