Staff Accountant

KBW Financial Staffing has partnered with a growing client in Westbrook, ME to identify a Staff Accountant to join their team. This position will play a key role in general ledger management and account reconciliations, contributing to the accuracy and efficiency of the company’s financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Prepare and review financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Perform monthly account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain fixed assets and depreciation schedules
• Prepare and post journal entries
  
  

Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant accounting experience
• Advanced Excel skills, including proficiency with PivotTables and VLOOKUPs
  
  

Compensation: up to $65k/year, depending on experience
