Sr. Accountant - Financial Reporting

KBW has partnered with a well-established organization is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its finance team. This is an opportunity for an experienced accounting professional to take ownership of complex accounting and financial reporting activities while serving as a key resource to leadership and the broader finance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead complex accounting, reconciliation, and financial reporting processes
• Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and financial schedules
• Oversee key aspects of monthly, quarterly, and year-end close
• Prepare and review financial statements and management reporting
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and regulatory requirements
• Provide accounting expertise on complex and high-risk matters
• Mentor accounting staff and help ensure effective workload distribution and operational continuity
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience
• 3 years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  
  

Compensation: $75-95,000 plus a strong benefits package.
