Senior Revenue Consultant

A global, publicly traded technology organization is seeking a Senior Revenue Consultant to join their team in the Greater Boston area. This position will report to the Director of Revenue Recognition and focus on contract review, deal structuring, and revenue recognition analysis in accordance with ASC 606 within a complex, high-growth environment.

$60–$75/hr DOE (flexible up to $85/hr)

This is a contract role (minimum 8 months, likely extension) with a hybrid schedule (2–3 days onsite per week). The role will support a large-scale system implementation and ongoing revenue operations.

Job Description

• Review and analyze customer contracts for revenue recognition under ASC 606 / IFRS 15
• Partner with sales, legal, and finance teams to structure complex deals
• Prepare deal review memos and document revenue conclusions
• Perform SSP calculations and revenue modeling for multi-element arrangements
• Support accurate revenue recording and prepare related journal entries
• Assist with quarter-end reporting and ad hoc revenue analysis
  
  

Job Requirements

• Experience in revenue recognition within a software environment (required)
• Strong knowledge of ASC 606 / IFRS 15 and contract review
• Background in SaaS and/or on-prem software (multi-element experience preferred)
• Experience with SSP calculations and deal structuring
• Strong Excel skills; SAP experience a plus (S/4HANA preferred but not required)
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
