- Processes weekly payroll for all employees using UKG Ready, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
- Audits and reconciles payroll data each pay cycle, including hours worked, overtime, bonuses, reimbursements, deductions, and adjustments.
- Verifies and maintains employee records related to pay rate changes, new hires, terminations, and leaves of absence in coordination with Human Resources.
- Administers and reconciles benefit, 401(k), and other payroll-related deductions; ensures accurate employer contributions and withholdings.
- Prepares payroll journal entries and assist with general ledger reconciliations and month-end financial close activities.
- Coordinates with Human Resources to ensure employee data integrity across UKG Ready and HR systems.
- Maintains compliance with wage and hour laws, tax regulations, and policies; stay informed on payroll-related legislation and system updates.
- Responds promptly to employee inquiries regarding pay, deductions, and payroll policies while maintaining confidentiality.
- Supports annual processes, including W-2 preparation, year-end reconciliations, and payroll audits.
- Recommends and implements process improvements to enhance payroll accuracy, efficiency, and reporting capabilities.
- Serves as the primary liaison with UKG Ready support and other payroll-related vendors as needed.
