This is a highly visible leadership role reporting directly to the CFO and offers the opportunity to play a key role in a global organization experiencing significant growth.
The ideal candidate will be an Assistant Controller, Director of Accounting, or early-stage Controller looking to step into a broader leadership role.
Responsibilities
Hybrid schedule - 2 days in office / week
Compensation: $170,000 - $210,000 plus bonus & equity

Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of global accounting operations, including general ledger, revenue recognition, tax, treasury, accounts payable, payroll, and financial reporting
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring timely and accurate GAAP-compliant financial statements
- Manage the consolidation of multiple domestic and international entities
- Oversee revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606
- Lead external audit activities and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Develop and enhance accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and accounting system optimization
- Support M&A activities, including due diligence and accounting integration
- Partner with leadership to support strategic growth initiatives
- Manage and mentor a global accounting team
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 8 years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting
- Experience managing multi-entity, international consolidations
- Revenue recognition (ASC 606) experience required
- Prior leadership experience managing accounting teams
- Experience in a SaaS, software, or technology environment preferred
- ERP system experience required; Intacct experience is a plus
- M&A experience preferred
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
