The Director of Finance will oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, internal controls, and audit processes while helping guide the organization through growth, change, and system enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the accounting and finance team, fostering development and accountability
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP
- Strengthen and maintain internal controls and compliance procedures
- Partner with executive leadership to provide financial insights and strategic guidance
- Lead external audit processes and serve as primary point of contact for auditors
- Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies
- Lead or support ERP implementation, system upgrades, or optimization initiatives
- Guide the organization through periods of growth, transformation, or change
- CPA strongly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field
- 10 years of progressive accounting experience
- 5 years of direct team management experience
- Proven experience leading accounting teams through change and system implementations
- Strong technical expertise in US GAAP, financial reporting, internal controls, and audit processes
- Demonstrated ability to build, mentor, and scale teams
- Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional partnership skills
- Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach
