AR Specialist

KBW Financial Staffing is working with a client in Worcester looking for an AR Specialist to join their team. This position is on-site with the potential for hybrid, 1 day from home, after the training period and is paying $25-34/hr depending on experience.

The Responsibilities For This Role Will Include

• Manage billing and collections activities, including client communications regarding unpaid invoices, processing electronic billing, preparing invoices, applying payments, and maintaining accurate accounts receivable records.
• Collaborate closely with attorneys, clients, and internal teams to track billing activity, resolve account issues, prepare financial reports, and support month-end closing procedures in a fast-paced professional services environment.
• Maintain organized financial records while demonstrating professionalism, confidentiality, strong attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines and contribute to process improvements and team success.
  
  

The Experience Required For This Role

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with prior billing and collections experience in a professional services environment
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, billing procedures, and collections practices, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience using billing platforms
• Highly organized professional with excellent communication, client service, and multitasking skills, capable of managing deadlines, maintaining confidentiality, and adapting to evolving financial systems and technologies.
