Job description:
- We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Equipment Engineer to join our Equipment Planning Group supporting paint department operations.
- This role involves approximately 80% office-based and 20% shop-floor activity, and requires hands-on involvement in equipment specifications development, project management, and manufacturing-focused requirements (for example, materials handling).
- The ideal candidate will have strong manufacturing experience, practical knowledge of robotics and maintenance, and the ability to execute and inspect equipment and systems on site.
- Responsibilities include supporting conveyor and paint-line projects, planning equipment, creating and reviewing technical and inspection documentation, participating in on-site inspections, and performing quality checks
Required:
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent experience in a Our Client engineering or technical role
- Experience with CAD or similar modeling software
- Experience with spec development
- Experience creating A3 and/or Ringi documents for equipment procurement
- Ability to identify project constraints and develop effective countermeasures
- 2 years of project management experience
- PLC experience and knowledge – Nice to have
