Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand their jewelry needs and preferences, providing personalized product recommendations and demonstrations.
• Conduct product demos to highlight features, craftsmanship, and styling options, enhancing the customer’s shopping experience.
• Assist customers with retail sales transactions using POS (Point of Sale) systems, ensuring accurate cash register operations and cash handling procedures.
• Upsell complementary jewelry pieces and accessories to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
• Stock shelves, organize displays, and ensure merchandise is well-presented and replenished regularly to support merchandising efforts.
• Handle all aspects of retail store product knowledge, including inventory management, stock rotation, and product placement strategies.
• Maintain professional phone etiquette when addressing customer inquiries or scheduling appointments, ensuring clear communication at all times.

Requirements

• Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in jewelry or luxury goods environments.
• Strong communication skills.
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, and retail math for accurate transactions and cash drawer handling.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately for sales processing and inventory management.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and professional phone etiquette.
• Knowledge of retail store merchandising standards and product knowledge related to jewelry is advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to upsell products confidently while maintaining genuine customer relationships.
