Assist customers with retail sales transactions using POS (Point of Sale) systems, ensuring accurate cash register operations and cash handling procedures. Upsell complementary jewelry pieces and accessories to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining excellent customer service standards. Stock shelves, organize displays, and ensure merchandise is well-presented and replenished regularly to support merchandising efforts. Handle all aspects of retail store product knowledge, including inventory management, stock rotation, and product placement strategies. Maintain professional phone etiquette when addressing customer inquiries or scheduling appointments, ensuring clear communication at all times. Requirements Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in jewelry or luxury goods environments. Strong communication skills. Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, and retail math for accurate transactions and cash drawer handling. Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately for sales processing and inventory management. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and professional phone etiquette. Knowledge of retail store merchandising standards and product knowledge related to jewelry is advantageous. Demonstrated ability to upsell products confidently while maintaining genuine customer relationships.
