Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
The HR & AR Billing Specialist will support core HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations, while also managing clients’ accounts receivable processes. This position requires a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and can balance people operations with financial accuracy. This hybrid role reports to the Country Manager and takes direction from the Vice President, Human Resources and Regional Finance Manager.
Tasks:
Human Resources:
- Coordinate full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies.
- Support benefits administration and employee engagement initiatives.
- Assist with performance management, training logistics, and HR reporting.
- Respond to employee inquiries and support workplace culture initiatives.
Accounts Receivable:
- Generate and issue customer invoices; track and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Resolve client billing discrepancies.
Maintain accurate records in accounting systems and support audit readiness.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organized with the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
- Reliable with patience and professionalism
- Strong MS Office Suite skills (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. As such, the HR & AR Billing Specialist is eligible to participate in the regional benefits program offered to Katalyst employees.
Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Travel:
Occasional travel may be necessary. Mileage for offsite meetings or errands will be reimbursed at the current regional rate.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or relevant work experience.
- 3 years of experience in HR and/or AR/AP functions.
- Proficiency in HRIS and accounting software (e.g., ADP, Workday, QuickBooks, SAP).
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Knowledge of employment laws and financial compliance standards.
- Working proficiency in English, both oral and written.
