Duties and Responsibilities
- Business Enablement:
- Serve as a subject matter expert for the solutions stated above, staying abreast of system updates, enhancements, and emerging features. *
- Educate and advise business units on how to maximize value from current functionalities and newly released features. *
- Champion system adoption initiatives by identifying optimization opportunities, promoting best practices, and guiding process improvements aligned with enterprise goals. *
- Collaborate with all department stakeholders to align system capabilities with evolving business needs. *
- System Development and Maintenance:
- Design, develop, and implement new features and modules. *
- Maintain and enhance existing ERP system components to ensure optimal performance. *
- Collaborate with the ERP Business Managers and other team members to plan and execute system upgrades and patches. *
- Manage data integrations, accuracy, consistency, and security across ERP modules. *
- Technical Support:
- Provide level 2 support for ERP and HCM system issues, including troubleshooting and resolving technical problems. *
- Work closely with end-users to understand their needs and provide effective solutions. *
- Ensure timely and accurate resolution of support tickets and user queries. *
- System Analysis:
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for system improvements. *
- Conduct system analysis to identify areas for optimization and efficiency gains. *
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document functional and technical requirements. *
- Programming and Scripting:
- Write and maintain code for system customization and integration. *
- Develop scripts and programs to automate routine tasks and improve system efficiency. *
- Ensure all code is well-documented and follows best practices. *
- Testing and Quality Assurance:
- Develop and execute test plans to ensure the quality and functionality of systems. *
- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) as needed. *
- Identify and resolve defects and issues discovered during testing. *
- Documentation and Training:
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system processes, configurations, and customizations. *
- Provide training and support to end-users on system functionality and best practices. *
- Assist in the development of user manuals and training materials. *
- Perform other similar related job duties as assigned. *
- Denotes essential functions of the position.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in ERP system programming, analysis and configuration.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, Java, C#, or similar.
- Extensive knowledge of ERP Applications and business use of them.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Experience with ERP and HCM system technology and integrations.
- Knowledge of business processes in areas such as HR, Talent Management, Time Management and Payroll.
- Knowledge of business process for Financials and Supply Chain.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
- Certifications in PeopleSoft, Oracle Fusion, or UGK.
