Seeking an experienced and dependable Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide one-on-one support for a 26 year old male in Fairview looking for help part to full time, the schedule is TBD. He is looking for help with building relationships, working on life skills and getting out into the community. He is currently dealing with depression and looking for a path. He is also looking for a DSP who can be a mentor, helps motivate him, and helps him build life skills. DSP will need to be able to drive client. There is no smoking or pets in the home.
Schedule:

- Up to 40 hours per week
Candidate Must have-
- Valid Drivers License and Insurance Coverage
- Communication skills requiring patience and understanding

As a Kangaroo Caregiver, you will provide in home assistance with activities of daily living (ADL’s) to support and maximize our client’s quality of life. Kangaroo Care delivers the training and resources to give our caregivers top-quality skills in a meaningful work environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Help plan and assist in preparing some meals, including serving, if necessary
- Assist with dressing, grooming
- Assist in daily living activities and needs
- Participate in life enriching activities
- A caregiver may assist with medication reminders
- Complete required shift notes and scheduling via our caregiver app
- Maintain client confidentiality
- Record and report changes in client’s physical condition, behavior, or appearance
Pay: $22.00 - $23.00 per hour
