Responsibilities
- Experienced Operate a variety of heavy equipment including dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and front loader trucks to perform site excavation, grading, lifting, and material handling tasks.
- Utilize CAT controls for precise machine operation, ensuring accuracy in grading and earthmoving activities.
- Manage multiple types of trucks such as dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, , and farm machinery to transport materials efficiently across the site.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met.
- Follow all safety protocols and construction site procedures to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and team members.
- Collaborate with project managers and crew members to coordinate equipment use and project timelines effectively.
- Assist with setup and breakdown of construction sites by moving materials and clearing debris as needed.
Requirements
- Proven Experience operating heavy construction equipment on active sites with a strong understanding of construction processes.
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues and perform basic maintenance tasks.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with experience driving various trucks including front loader trucks, dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, and tankers.
- Familiarity with Caterpillar (CAT) equipment controls is preferred; certification is a plus.
- Ability to operate multiple types of machinery including dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and farm machinery confidently.
- Strong knowledge of safety standards in construction environments and commitment to maintaining a safe work site.
