We’re partnering with a well-established, growing manufacturer to find a Senior Buyer with a strong background in food & beverage manufacturing. This role is critical in ensuring uninterrupted supply, driving cost savings, and building strategic supplier relationships in a dynamic production environment.
What You’ll Do
● Lead procurement of packaging and ingredient materials based on ERP-driven production needs
● Negotiate pricing, contracts, and supplier agreements to drive cost savings
● Partner cross-functionally (Planning, Finance, QA, Operations) to resolve supply challenges
● Manage inventory strategies and ensure on-time delivery to production
● Identify and mitigate supply risks, including dual sourcing strategies
● Source and qualify new suppliers to improve cost and performance
● Support budgeting and forecasting through market and consumption analysis
● Play a key role in new product launches and supplier transitions
What We’re Looking For
● 6 years of purchasing experience within food & beverage manufacturing (required)
● Strong experience with ERP/planned purchasing systems
● Proven negotiation and supplier management skills
● Solid understanding of inventory management and supply chain processes
● Advanced Excel and analytical capabilities
● Experience with ECNs, rebranding, or production schedule changes is a plus
● Bachelor’s degree preferred (or CPM/CPIM certification in lieu of degree)

Compensation & Perks
● $80,000 – $88,000 base salary
● 6% bonus target
● Relocation package available
● Monday–Friday schedule (7–4 or 8–5)
● Primarily onsite, with potential for limited remote flexibility after training

Salary : $80,000 - $88,000
