What are the responsibilities and job description for the Controller position at Kane Partners LLC?
We’re working with a privately held company seeking a hands-on Controller to lead all accounting and financial operations.
This is a broad role in a small, project-based environment, ideal for someone coming from construction or a similar industry.
What you’ll be doing:
- Overseeing full-cycle accounting and monthly close
- Managing cash flow, reporting, and forecasting
- Supporting job costing, WIP, and project billing
- Handling payroll and benefits administration
- Working closely with leadership on financial visibility
What they’re looking for:
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience
- Prior experience in a Controller or senior-level role
- Background in construction or project-based businesses
- CPA strongly preferred
- Strong ownership mindset with the ability to operate independently
- Comfortable wearing multiple hats in a small company
