What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Safety Program Manager position at Kane Partners LLC?
The Role: Program Owner, Not Site Babysitter
This is not a "boots in the mud" Site Superintendent role. If you are looking to just walk one jobsite and check for safety glasses, this isn't for you.
We need a Safety Program Manager who is a "super-doer" in the office and a leader in the field. You are the architect of our safety culture. You’ll be based in the corporate office, managing safety across the entire company portfolio. This means you own the planning, the filings, and the training - ensuring we aren't just following rules, but setting the standard.
What You’ll Actually Do (The "Doer" List)
· The Paperwork that Matters: Own all OSHA filings, BWC documentation, and regulatory reporting. If it needs to be filed, it’s on your desk.
· Upgrade the Playbook: Don't just read the manual—write it. You’ll be responsible for upgrading company safety rules and creating written Site-Specific Safety Plans (SSSPs).
· Drive the Culture: Develop and lead training materials and onboarding. You need to be able to "speak field" so the guys actually listen and learn.
· Proactive Planning: Get involved in the pre-con phase to identify risks before the first shovel hits the ground.
· Audit & Execute: Conduct incident reviews and site audits, then turn those findings into corrective actions and new training modules.
Why This Desk is a Win
· The "Net Pay" Advantage: 100% company-paid healthcare for you and your spouse. This is a massive savings compared to most corporate roles.
· Real Autonomy: You have the authority to build and drive the program. Leadership wants a partner, not a paper-pusher.
· Immediate Tenure: 4 weeks PTO from Day 1.
· Stability: A growing design-build firm with a rock-solid pipeline.
What You Bring
· Construction DNA: You must come from the construction industry. You know how projects move and where the real risks live.
· Administrative Grit: You are proactive with filings, OSHA compliance, and documentation. You don't let things slip through the cracks.
· Training Ability: You can create and deliver training that keeps a high-growth team sharp and compliant.
· Required: OSHA 30. (CSP or CHST is a plus but we value the "doer" experience more).
Work Authorization:
Applicants must have valid, independent authorization to work in the United States. This position does not offer, support, or accept any form of sponsorship—whether employer, third-party, future, contingent, transfer, or otherwise. Candidates must be able to work for any employer in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship of any kind. Work authorization will be verified, and misrepresentation will result in immediate removal from consideration.
Salary : $100,000 - $130,000
