Environmental and Safety Solutions, Inc. is looking for a Construction Safety Associate for a project performing machinery installation at an industrial site. We are looking for a construction safety professional who is passionate about the safety and health of employees, an excellent communicator both verbally and in writing, has good computer skills, is self-directed, and has experience in heavy machinery installation.

Environmental and Safety Solutions, Inc. is looking for a Construction Safety Associate for a project performing machinery installation at an industrial site. We are looking for a construction safety professional who is passionate about the safety and health of employees, an excellent communicator both verbally and in writing, has good computer skills, is self-directed, and has experience in heavy machinery installation.
Key Responsibilities
- Enforce specific safety and health procedures in conjunction with project controls in order to translate policies and regulations into effective work practices.
- Monitor compliance with mandatory safety and health laws, standards, and codes.
- Teach project-specific safety orientation which all project personnel shall complete prior to being allowed to perform any work on this Project as directed.
- Perform and document daily field observations of construction-related activities, to identify and correct deficiencies and report daily.
- Support the Construction Manager’s weekly Safety Committee Meeting.
- Conduct construction site Safety Audits.
- Investigate injuries, near misses, conditions, and incidents to ensure effective corrective actions are implemented.
- Maintain adequate records of pertinent data and compile the required reports on individual job occupational injury or illness experience.
- Be familiar with industrial cleaning operations, electrical work, and other industrial operations that take place inside industrial operations.
- Able to work effectively in both the construction and industrial environments.
- Must be local to the Cincinnati/West Chester, OH area.
- 3-5 years of experience in construction safety, preferably within a pharmaceutical facility.
