What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Laborer- Metal Fabrication position at Kallibrated Metals LLC?
FIRST SHIFT W/ FREQUENT 3 DAY WEEKENDS!
This is an entry level position within our sheet metal manufacturing plant.
JOB DUTIES
- Sorting parts coming off the lasers
- Basic blueprint reading
- Using machinery and power tools for grinding, deburring, and edge rounding
- Operating tapping machines and drill press
- Tagging completed parts
- Forklift operation that includes unloading steel off incoming trucks and loading finished products onto outgoing trucks
- Delivering completed parts to customers
This individual will have opportunities for advancement within our company to learn press brake, punch press and laser operation over time. This is a very diversified position which has you doing a wide variety of duties throughout your day!
Any prior related experience or schooling can be helpful but not required. Individual should enjoy a variety of work throughout the day, lifting to 75 lbs. as needed, attention to detail and accuracy. Desire to want to learn and become a skilled tradesman within the metal fabrication trade is a huge plus in order to gain opportunities for advancement.

Pay: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour
