JOB DUTIES:
- Primary Role: Operate press brake to produce high-quality sheet metal components, ensuring precision and adherence to blueprints
- Additional Responsibilities: Float to other departments (e.g., sorting, welding, etc.) based on production needs, providing expertise and support
- Sort and organize parts from laser cutting machines to feed downstream work centers
- Operate drilling, tapping, deburring, and edge-rounding equipment
- Assist team members in press brake, laser, and welding departments, learning advanced techniques and cross-training as necessary
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure precision
- Safely operate forklifts to move materials and finished products
- Master machinery and standard operating procedures to uphold quality standards
- Mentor trainees, sharing knowledge to help nurture growth of team members
- Contribute to process improvements and maintain equipment for optimal performance
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
