JOB DUTIES:
- Set up, program, and form sheet metal parts on CNC press brakes in a "short run" job shop setting
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure dimensional tolerances are held
- Attention to detail in using caliper, square, and protractor to accurately measure parts and make corrective adjustments
- Be flexible and willing to float into other departments to assist team members in sorting, lasering, and welding departments as needed
- Sort and organize parts from laser cutting machines
- Operate drilling, tapping, deburring, and edge-rounding equipment
- Safely operate forklifts to move materials and finished products
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- Experience: Prior experience operating press brake REQUIRED. Knowledge of blueprint reading, tooling, and performing own setups on CNC press brake preferred.
- Motivation & Drive: A strong work ethic, positive attitude, and eagerness to learn or lead
- Attention to Detail: Commitment to producing high-quality work
- Physical Capability: Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and maintain focus in a hands-on role
- Career Ambition: Desire to develop into a skilled tradesperson or leader
