Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Operational Adherence: Follow cash handling procedures. Greet guests, complete sales transactions, and perform other duties as necessary to ensure a smoothly run shift while maintaining a sincere, caring and personable image for the guest and team. Maintain organizational standards of quality, service, cleanliness and sanitation and safety.
- Maintain product knowledge: Know the products, presentations, and prices of all products and specials.
- Complete cleaning and stocking (restocking) duties in accordance with the appropriate daily operating procedure.
- Prepare and/or restock any necessary fresh condiments.
- Responsible for the proper use of gloves, utensils, and portion size of each item, including temperature of all products, and the quality presentation of all products.
- Greet guests. Engage in additional conversation with guest while performing duties. Assist other stations when able.
- Greet, check in, and check out RV Park guests as they arrive and depart. Charge and instruct guests regarding RV dump procedures as well and responsible for the proper dispensing of LPG from main tanks. (This only applies to Kalispel Market Cusick location)
- Opening, Shift Change and Closing: Perform cleaning, set-up and breakdown duties as directed by management and position requirements.
- Ensure inventory control/protection of organizational assets.
- Available and willing to work any changes in hours deemed necessary for Business Levels.
- Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular good attendance record.

Experience
- Six months of related experience is preferred.
- Must be computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft programs and cash processing software.
- Ability to handle cash accurately
- Delivery of outstanding, attentive, and friendly service to customers.
- Requires ability to operate a 10 key.
- Ability to handle stress, remain calm and courteous and handle a wide variety of clientele.
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships with department heads, team members,
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, and ratios to practical solutions.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Skill in solving practical problems and dealing with situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Able to perform minimal troubleshooting on basic equipment used in essential job functions.
- Employment is contingent upon favorable outcome of background investigation and drug screen.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Kalispel Tribal Work Permit.
- Minimum age requirement of 18 years old.
- Payment Card Training.
- Valid health card.
- Hepatitis A & B vaccination.
- Washington State Food Handler Permit within 14 days of start.
- Mandatory Alcohol Server Training (MAST) certification.
- Available and willing to work any changes in hours deemed necessary for business levels.
- Participate in MASTRVP Program.
