Position: Travel Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse

Location: Hilo, HI

Pay: $59 to $60/hour

Experience

• 1 year of professional nursing experience providing independent patient care in a hospital, clinic, or institutional setting.
• 1 year of recent Medical-Surgical nursing experience within the past 2 years.
  
  

Education

• Active State of Hawaii Registered Nurse (RN) License (required).
• Current BLS/BCLS Certification and ACLS Certification.

Job Description

• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to adult Medical-Surgical patients.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Accurately document patient care using the EPIC electronic medical record system.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and nursing best practices.
