Position: Maintenance Tech

Location: Honolulu, HI

Pay: $32 - $35/hour (Depending on experience)

Experience/Education: Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or 6 months to 1 year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Type: Full-time; Temp to Perm

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM (On-call on weekends as needed)

Kahu Malama Nurses is seeking a Maintenance Tech to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description:

• Repairs and upkeep: Perform a variety of general repairs, including basic carpentry, plumbing, and electrical tasks, to maintain the buildings, equipment, and residential areas.
• Groundskeeping: Assist with the upkeep of the grounds, including lawn maintenance, debris removal, and landscaping.
• Preventive maintenance: Performing preventive maintenance on equipment, such as HVAC units and other appliances.
• Safety inspections: Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
• Emergency response: Be available to respond to emergency repairs as needed.
• Resident and staff interaction: Respond to maintenance requests from residents and staff in a timely and considerate manner.
  
  

Position Requirements:

• Experience in general maintenance work.
• Knowledge of standard tools and equipment related to maintenance and repair work.
• The ability to lift and carry heavy equipment.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Current valid driver’s license as required to perform job duties.
