This is not a remote role. Applicants must be able to report to work on time as scheduled.

Position: Travel Registered Nurse

Location: Honolulu, HI

Pay: This position has a fixed pay rate of $55/hour

Experience: Prior nursing experience.

Education: Current Hawaii RN license in good standing.

Type: Full-time; Contract

Schedule: Evening Shift, 3:00pm to 11:30pm

Kahu Malama Nurses is seeking a Travel Registered Nurse to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description

• Administer treatments and medications to residents
• Conduct ongoing resident assessments
• Coordinate and document individualized care plans
• Serve as the immediate coordinator of an assigned unit, overseeing the work of Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)
• Step in as unit supervisor in the absence of the Charge Nurse
• Provide high-quality, resident-focused care in an onsite skilled nursing environment
  
  

Position Requirements

• Ability to perform CPR; current CPR certification
• Strong critical thinking skills to assess and evaluate resident care needs and treatments
• General understanding of managing resident moods and behaviors
• Supervisory skills to enforce work rules, cooperate with other departments, and keep resident information strictly confidential
• Excellent communication skills with staff, residents, responsible parties, and all others involved in resident care
