Job Description
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), helping each resident reach their highest practicable level of functioning
- Provide oral care, hygiene, and nail care according to each resident's plan of care
- Assist residents with dressing and grooming based on their individual needs, wishes, and preferences
- Bathe residents with attention to privacy and dignity, providing a safe and relaxing experience
- Ensure resident comfort and well-being throughout each shift
- Build positive relationships with residents and their families
- Work cooperatively with co-workers and supervisors, and assist teammates as needed
- Completion of 12 hours of annual in-service education as required by federal regulations (and state requirements, if greater)
- Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions
- Strong interpersonal skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
- Reliable attendance and punctuality; must report to work on time as scheduled
