JustinBradley's client, an expert in securitization and technology in the housing finance market, is seeking a Procurement Specialist to join our Procurement & Supplier Management team. This role will be responsible for strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and purchasing of technology and non-technology professional services. The Procurement Specialist will build strong internal partnerships across divisions and foster supplier relationships to meet evolving organizational needs.
Responsibilities
- Drive centralization of professional services procurement by developing strong internal and external partnerships.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Security, Technology, Finance, Legal) to deliver procurement services.
- Manage the full lifecycle of professional services contracts.
- Source and negotiate contracts for contingent labor and consulting services.
- Conduct RFPs, evaluate proposals, and manage legal and commercial negotiations.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement guidelines and government regulations.
- Scout, qualify, and manage global suppliers.
- Monitor supplier performance and identify consolidation opportunities.
- Maintain accurate supplier and contract data.
- Support renewals and purchase order processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in sourcing and procurement.
- Knowledge of procurement management applications.
- Strong understanding of contract negotiation techniques.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to interpret technology documentation for procurement activities.
- Proven negotiation skills with complex technology contracts.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Project management and organizational skills with ability to meet deadlines.
- Collaborative mindset with proven cross-functional teamwork experience.
