Lead AI and Data Solutions Engineer

JustinBradley's client, an expert in securitization and technology in the housing finance market, is seeking an experienced Lead AI and Data Solution Engineer to drive the development, integration, and deployment of advanced AI, data engineering, and cloud-based solutions.

This role requires a hands-on, innovative leader with strong expertise in large language models (LLMs), agentic AI systems, cloud solutions, and data engineering to design secure, scalable, and value-driven AI solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Solution Engineering: Lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-scale data and AI solutions aligned with business goals and technical best practices.
• LLM & Agentic AI: Architect, implement, and optimize large language models and agentic AI workflows for automation and decision support.
• Framework Expertise: Build and deploy solutions using LangChain, LangGraph, and n8n for scalable orchestration, workflow automation, and system integration.
• Model Context Protocol (MCP): Design and integrate MCP-based solutions for context management, interpretability, and large-scale deployment.
• Cloud & Data Engineering: Leverage AWS (Glue, S3, Lambda, SageMaker, Bedrock, etc.) and Snowflake to create secure, efficient pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
• Collaboration: Work closely with technology, business, legal, risk, and compliance teams to deliver fully integrated solutions.
• Innovation: Stay ahead of trends in AI, data engineering, and cloud computing to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
• Governance & Compliance: Ensure all solutions adhere to security, compliance, and regulatory standards for financial services.
• Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and data professionals.

Experience:

• 8 years of experience in data engineering, AI solution development, or related fields.
• Proven expertise in LLMs, agentic AI systems, and Model Context Protocol (MCP).
• Experience building and integrating AI solutions on AWS Bedrock, including prompt engineering, RAG, and enterprise integration.
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake and AWS services (Glue, S3, Lambda, SageMaker, etc.).
• Background in financial services or mortgage technology preferred.

Specialized Knowledge & Skills:

• Deep knowledge of AI/ML frameworks, cloud-native architectures, and scalable data pipelines.
• Experience in LLM deployment, fine-tuning, and integration.
• Expertise in agentic AI design patterns and MCP-driven solutions.
• Strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance within regulated industries.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with ability to simplify complex concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to drive innovation and deliver enterprise-scale AI solutions.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
