JustinBradley’s client, a leader in entertainment media, is seeking a Design Lead to set a strategic design vision, guide research and execution, and deliver high-quality, production-ready materials. This is a hands-on, player-coach role collaborating closely with business, product, and technical leaders. The Design Lead will work in a supportive, proactive, and highly collaborative team across multiple lines of business, including Studio Tours, Finance, HR, Intranet, and external-facing sites. This role offers the opportunity to influence enterprise-level products, drive user-centered design decisions, and work on high-profile projects that impact both internal teams and external clients.
Responsibilities
- Champion a human-centered product vision and align design strategy with business and product goals.
- Lead iterative design research (generative and evaluative) to inform UX decisions and product backlog priorities.
- Ideate, define, and deliver detailed designs for user stories, including acceptance criteria and prioritization.
- Lead the POD design team in maintaining and evolving the design system and other design operations resources.
- Collaborate with product owners, developers, data science teams, and other designers to ensure effective implementation and consistency of designs.
- Act as the primary UX voice in demos and stakeholder interactions, ensuring accessibility and UX standards are met.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and drive innovation in design processes and platform development.
Requirements
- 8 years of UX design experience with strong Figma expertise (portfolio required).
- 5 years leading design teams in cross-functional, agile environments.
- Demonstrated ability to innovate, solve problems, and deliver solutions in fast-paced, dynamic settings.
- Strong communication skills, capable of articulating design strategies to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proactive mindset with passion for building modern, user-centered enterprise products.
- Deep expertise in agile design, mobile-first principles, and bridging data insights to design decisions.
- Proficiency with Figma, Miro, Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Office 365.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience designing enterprise or internal B2B applications.
- Software design and development background.
- Experience in Finance, Media, or Entertainment.
- Skills in rapid prototyping and data visualization.
