Overview:
An established and growing contractor is seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee the successful execution of high-end glazing and façade projects across the Sarasota region. This role is critical in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in field operations, particularly within curtain wall, storefront, and architectural glass systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all on-site construction activities from pre-construction through project completion
- Coordinate subcontractors, field teams, and material deliveries to maintain project schedules
- Ensure all work is executed in accordance with project drawings, specifications, and safety standards
- Conduct daily site walks, monitor progress, and proactively address any issues or delays
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Estimators, and clients to ensure seamless communication
- Maintain detailed site reports, schedules, and documentation
- Enforce OSHA compliance and company safety protocols at all times
- Lead and mentor field staff, fostering a productive and professional job site environment
Requirements:
- 5 years of Superintendent experience within glazing, façade, or exterior envelope construction
- Strong knowledge of curtain wall, storefront, window wall, and related systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- OSHA certification preferred
- Proficient with construction scheduling tools and field reporting software
Salary : $80,000 - $95,000
