Project Manager - Curtain Wall & Ornamental Metals
Our client is a well-established commercial façade contractor specialising in high-quality curtain wall, ornamental metal and architectural façade systems. With a strong reputation for delivering complex commercial projects across the New York market, they are looking to add an experienced Project Manager to oversee projects from award through closeout.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership of projects, working closely with clients, subcontractors and field teams, and delivering technically challenging façade packages.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple commercial façade projects valued between $1M and $5M.
- Oversee projects from handover through procurement, fabrication, installation and closeout.
- Coordinate curtain wall and ornamental metal packages to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.
- Review drawings, specifications, RFIs and submittals.
- Manage project schedules, budgets and cost tracking.
- Coordinate with General Contractors, architects, consultants and internal teams.
- Work closely with fabrication facilities, vendors and suppliers to ensure material procurement aligns with project schedules.
- Lead project meetings and provide regular progress updates to clients and senior management.
- Support field superintendents by resolving technical and logistical issues.
- Manage project documentation including change orders, purchase orders, contracts and closeout documentation.
- Ensure quality standards and safety requirements are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Project Manager within the commercial façade industry.
- Proven experience managing curtain wall and ornamental metal projects.
- Experience delivering projects valued between $1M and $5M.
- Strong understanding of commercial construction practices and building envelope systems.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and shop drawings.
- Excellent communication and client management skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software. Experience with Procore, Bluebeam or similar platforms is advantageous.

Salary : $120,000 - $160,000
