About the Role
The Project Manager leads the planning, coordination, and execution of healthcare facility projects from design through construction and occupancy. Working closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams, this role is responsible for delivering projects on schedule, within budget, and in alignment with quality, safety, and regulatory standards. This position requires strong leadership, communication, and project management skills to successfully manage multiple projects while fostering long-term client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Manage healthcare facility projects through planning, design, construction, and occupancy phases.
- Develop and oversee project budgets, schedules, forecasts, and financial reporting.
- Lead project meetings, prepare agendas, document meeting minutes, and ensure follow-up on action items.
- Manage project documentation, contracts, consultant agreements, and change orders.
- Monitor project performance, proactively identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to maintain schedule and budget objectives.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between clients, architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
- Oversee procurement activities and ensure timely delivery of project milestones and deliverables.
- Manage construction administration activities, including site visits, progress reviews, quality assurance, and issue resolution.
- Prepare and present project status reports, executive summaries, and client presentations.
- Maintain accurate project records and ensure compliance with organizational documentation standards.
- Ensure projects comply with applicable quality, safety, regulatory, and healthcare industry requirements.
- Mentor and support junior project staff while collaborating across multidisciplinary teams.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and provide strategic recommendations to enhance project delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 3–7 years of project management experience in healthcare facilities, construction, development, architecture, engineering, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience managing projects through multiple phases, including planning, design, construction, and occupancy.
- Strong knowledge of project management principles, construction processes, and project delivery methods.
- Proven ability to manage project budgets, schedules, contracts, and risk mitigation.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and decision-making skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting to clients and executive stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Experience with project management software such as e-Builder, Procore, MS Project, or similar platforms preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and relationship management skills.
- PMP certification or progress toward certification is a plus.

Salary : $100,000 - $130,000
