About the Role
The Assistant Project Manager (APM) supports the planning, coordination, and execution of healthcare facility projects from design through construction and occupancy. Working closely with Project Managers and Senior Project Managers, this role assists with project administration, scheduling, budgeting, documentation, and stakeholder communication to help ensure successful project delivery. This position provides an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to develop expertise in healthcare project management while contributing to impactful healthcare environments.
Responsibilitie
- sAssist Project Managers in managing healthcare facility projects through planning, design, construction, and occupancy phases
- .Support project budgeting, scheduling, forecasting, and financial reporting activities
- .Coordinate project meetings, prepare agendas, document meeting minutes, and track action items
- .Assist with project documentation, contracts, consultant agreements, and change orders
- .Monitor project schedules and budgets, identifying potential risks, delays, or cost concerns and escalating issues as appropriate
- .Coordinate communication between clients, architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders
- .Support procurement activities and track project milestones, deliverables, and vendor performance
- .Assist with construction administration activities, including site visits, progress tracking, punch lists, and issue resolution
- .Prepare project status reports, presentations, meeting materials, and other client-facing documents
- .Maintain organized project records and ensure documentation is current and accurate
- .Support compliance with quality, safety, regulatory, and healthcare industry requirements
- .Conduct project-related research, data analysis, and reporting to support project planning and execution
- .Collaborate with project teams to ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with client expectations

Qualificatio
- nsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferre
- d.1–4 years of experience in project coordination, construction, healthcare facilities, architecture, engineering, development, or a related fiel
- d.Basic understanding of project management principles, construction processes, and project delivery method
- s.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadline
- s.Excellent written and verbal communication skill
- s.Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environmen
- t.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outloo
