Project Manager
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a growing General Contractor with a strong portfolio of educational, commercial, and institutional construction projects. This individual will be responsible for overseeing projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring they are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with experience managing ground-up and renovation projects and a strong ability to coordinate project teams, clients, consultants, and subcontractors throughout the construction lifecycle.
Responsibilitie
- sManage all phases of construction projects from preconstruction through project closeout
- .Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, procurement plans, and contract documentation
- .Lead project planning efforts and collaborate with estimating, preconstruction, and field operations teams
- .Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure project objectives are achieved
- .Monitor project financial performance, including cost tracking, forecasting, change orders, and billing
- .Review subcontractor scopes, negotiate agreements, and manage subcontractor performance throughout the project
- .Support field teams by proactively resolving design, scheduling, and construction-related issues
- .Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to clients and internal stakeholders
- .Ensure compliance with contract requirements, project specifications, safety standards, and quality expectations
- .Manage RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, permits, and project documentation
- .Identify and mitigate project risks while maintaining strong communication among all project participants
- .Oversee project closeout activities, including punch lists, turnover documentation, and warranty management

Qualificatio
- ns5 years of experience as a Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager, or similar role with a General Contracto
- r.Proven experience managing commercial, educational, institutional, or public-sector construction project
- s.K-12 construction experience is strongly preferre
- d.Experience managing ground-up and renovation projects valued at $5M preferre
- d.Knowledge of structural concrete and masonry construction is a plu
- s.Strong understanding of construction contracts, budgeting, scheduling, and project control
- s.Experience managing RFIs, submittals, change orders, procurement, and project financial
- s.Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skill
- s.Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environmen
- t.Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar construction management softwar
- e.Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferre
- d.OSHA certification and knowledge of construction safety best practices are a plu
Salary : $120,000 - $150,000
