Estimator – Glass & Glazing (Low-Rise Interiors & Exteriors)
I’m working with a well-established glazing contractor in the Philadelphia market who are seeking an experienced Estimator to join their team.
This company focuses on low-rise interior and exterior glazing projects - storefronts, entrances, interior glass partitions, and fit-outs - with a steady pipeline and a reputation for quality delivery. This is an opportunity to work on a variety of commercial and residential projects while building accurate, competitive bids that drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate take-offs, estimates, and proposals for low-rise glazing projects
- Review architectural drawings, specifications, and RFIs
- Source and coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Analyze project scope, materials, and labor requirements
- Develop cost breakdowns and project budgets
- Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure estimates reflect practical site conditions
- Maintain historical cost data and assist in building a pricing database
- Support business development with competitive and timely proposals

Requirements
- Proven experience as an Estimator in glass & glazing / façade / interiors
- Strong understanding of storefront, curtain wall, and interior glazing systems
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications
- Strong analytical, organizational, and numerical skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proficient in estimation software (Bluebeam, Excel, or similar)
- Ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously under tight deadlines
Salary : $110,000 - $150,000
