What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Technology Implementation Manager position at Just Construction Recruitment?
Our client is seeking a Construction Technology Implementation Manager to support the rollout, adoption, and long-term success of Procore across the business.
This is not a typical system administration role. It’s a hands-on, operational position focused on improving how projects are delivered day-to-day. You’ll work directly with project teams and leadership to ensure Procore is fully embedded into the business.
You’ll partner with an existing Implementation Specialist in equal capacity, sharing responsibility for driving consistency, improving workflows, and supporting teams across all projects.
Key Responsibilities
Implementation & Rollout
- Lead the full implementation and rollout of Procore across all projects and departments
- Configure project templates, workflows, permissions, and company standards
- Manage initial project setup including folders, document structures, and user access
Workflow Development & Standardization
- Develop and standardize processes for RFIs, submittals, drawings, specifications, and document control
- Align Procore workflows with existing operational processes
- Ensure consistency across all projects and teams
Systems Integration
- Coordinate and manage integrations with accounting, ERP, scheduling, and estimating systems
- Support data flow and ensure accuracy across platforms
Training & Support
- Deliver hands-on training sessions for project teams and office staff
- Support onboarding of new users
- Provide ongoing support during rollout and troubleshoot implementation issues
Documentation & Continuous Improvement
- Create user guides, SOPs, and best practice documentation
- Monitor system usage and identify opportunities for improvement
- Drive ongoing efficiency and workflow optimization
Subject Matter Expertise
- Act as the internal Procore expert during and after implementation
- Support leadership with insights and recommendations on system usage
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience implementing or heavily configuring Procore in a construction environment
- Proven experience leading software rollouts or system implementations
- Strong understanding of construction workflows (RFIs, submittals, change orders, document control)
- Experience working cross-functionally with operations, project management, and accounting teams
- Ability to train, onboard, and influence teams at all levels
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and process-driven mindset
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
Preferred Experience
- Procore Certification (Admin or Project Manager preferred)
- Experience integrating Procore with ERP or accounting systems
- Familiarity with scheduling tools and estimating platforms
- Background in commercial construction, ideally within façade, glazing, or specialty subcontracting
Salary : $75,000 - $90,000
