Temporary Senior Counsel – Labor and Employment

JURISolutions is partnering with our corporate client to identify a skilled Labor & Employment Attorney who can support HR and labor partners in resolving complex employment issues. This is a REMOTE role based on east coast hours (20 hrs. to start with potential to ramp up). Duration of engagement anticipated 3 months.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise on employment law matters including FLSA, employee classification, and workplace investigations.
• Conduct and oversee internal investigations
• Provide legal guidance to HR and business leaders.
• Collaborate with labor and HR teams to resolve disputes and ensure compliance
• Navigate union-related matters and support labor relations strategy
  
  

Required Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school; bar admission in at least one state
• 7–10 years of employment law experience including:
• FLSA and wage/hour expertise
• Internal investigations
• Employee classification and compliance
• Strong legal research and negotiation skills
• Combined in-house and law firm experience highly preferred
• Experience in unionized environments
